I specialise in guiding pregnant and postpartum women in achieving optimal health, energy, and vitality. I support them with a tailor-made nutrition and lifestyle plan. I also specialise in creating a personalized kosher nutrition plan.
In addition, I work in the following areas:
The Nervous System: for example headaches and anxiety.
The Digestive System: for example constipation, heartburn, and bloating.
I take the time to listen and understand my clients in order to build a clear and accurate picture of the ‘whole you’.
I go above and beyond; I give my all to ensure that you are motivated and understand the mechanisms of what happens in your body when you eat certain foods.
My clients get results! I design your nutrition and lifestyle plan in a way that helps you reach your goals. I introduce you to healthy foods and help you stay on track with delicious recipe ideas, detailed menu plans, informative handouts, and email support.
For many, the first three months of pregnancy can be a major challenge. There is a high chance that constant nausea and flying hormones can make you feel overwhelmed. My strong nutritional background helped me to improve my nausea. One of the things that I found helpful for improving my nausea was drinking lemon water.
From conception, I took a pregnancy multivitamin, a folate supplement, and increased folate in my diet with foods such as dark leafy vegetables and avocados.
During pregnancy, symptoms such as back pain may arise, and it’s important to know the most suitable health professional to be referred to as it plays a pivotal role in your recovery. With that said, I have connections with a wide network and am able to refer my clients to top health professionals to suit their specific needs. I was relieved that my physiotherapist, who is trained in pregnancy, was able to help my back pain.
Giving birth can be an unpredictable and traumatic experience, but thanks to my doula, I was able to stay in control of the pain and remain calm and confident. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who is now 10 months old.
Although I didn't have postpartum depression myself, I understand that postpartum depression is prevalent and needs to be addressed. Additionally, I can understand the struggle that many mothers have with breastfeeding. There are so many aspects that could be a struggle, from sore nipples to low milk supply. With some simple steps, I was able to increase my milk supply in just one week.
Weaning is an exciting journey to begin. However, knowing the best strategy and foods for your baby can be tricky. Considering my broad nutritional background, I was able to choose nutrient-dense foods for my baby.
